As the mental health crisis continues to intensify, it is increasingly vital for COEs to be responsive to the ever-changing needs in school communities. The creation of the Mental Health in Schools Collaborative was a game-changer f SDCOE’s Student Wellness & School Culture Department. Creating a safe space for district and school staff across the county to convene has allowed SDCOE to assess the current environment and identify and respond to the school’s community needs. Participants will learn about the model and evolving strategies that promote collective well-being.
